It will be assigned Eng. Piero Ferrari (Vice President of Ferrari), the Mecenate Dello Sport award – “Varaldo Di Pietro”, 2021.
The award ceremony will take place in Rome on the 29th of September at 11:00 am in the Coni’s Hall of Honor at the Foro Italico.
The ceremony will be attended by Giovanni Malagò (President of Coni), Giovanni Di Pietro (President of the Varaldo Di Pietro Foundation) and many others prestigious guests from the world of sport and journalism.
The event will be presented by RAI journalist Enrico Varriale.
The Motivation: Piero Ferrari is a true “Mecenate”, he was able to represent the highest values of sport through his excellent brand in the world and even in its solidarity activities promoted in the period of Covid emergency.
During the ceremony, the “Journalism Sport Economy Award” will be awarded to the journalist of TG2 Motori, Maria Leitner.
Piero Ferrari joins the roll of honor of the prestigious award along with other great personalities such as: Massimo Moratti, Nerio Alessandri, Claudio Ranieri, Timothy Shriver Kennedy, Lavinia Biagiotti and Javier Zanetti.
The event is sponsored by Coni and the National Order of Journalists.
